Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Cancellation & Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains how to cancel your Cloverly subscription and the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time using either of the following methods:

  • Account settings: Navigate to your account settings and select "Cancel subscription."
  • Stripe customer portal: Access the billing portal link provided in your subscription confirmation email to manage or cancel your plan.

3. Cancellation Timing

To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing period. Once that period expires, your access will revert to the free tier (if available) or be deactivated.

4. Free Trial Cancellation

If you are on a free trial, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends to avoid being charged. If you cancel within the trial period, you will not be billed and your access will end when the trial expires. If you do not cancel in time, your selected subscription plan will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged.

5. Refund Policy

As a general rule, all subscription payments are non-refundable, and we do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. However, we make the following exceptions:

48-Hour Grace Period (First Charge After Trial)

If your free trial converts to a paid subscription and you request a cancellation within 48 hours of the first charge, we will issue a full refund. This applies only to the very first charge after a trial — subsequent renewals are not eligible for this grace period.

Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled), contact us within 14 days of the charge. We will investigate and issue a refund if the error is confirmed.

Annual Plan Exception

If you are on an annual plan and request cancellation within 14 days of your annual renewal, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to request a prorated refund.

6. Reactivation

If you cancel your subscription, you can resubscribe at any time by selecting a new plan from the pricing page. Your account data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. If you resubscribe within that window, your previous data and settings will be restored. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.
